Our next stop is at St. Gerasimos Monastery, a beautiful and historic monastery dedicated to the patron saint of Kefalonia, St. Gerasimos. Set in a serene location surrounded by lush green hills, this is a peaceful and beautiful place to visit.
Our fourth stop is at Mount Ainos, a stunning mountain range with breathtaking views of the island. Explore the natural beauty of this area and admire the diverse flora and fauna that call it home.
One of the highlights of the tour is a visit to Melissani Lake, a mesmerizing body of water with crystal-clear blue waters and natural sunlight filtering through the roof. You'll be in awe of the natural beauty of this place.
Old Vlahata Village
The ruins of this historic village is located on the eastern side of the island, surrounded by rolling hills and scenic countryside. Visitors can explore the old stone houses and attend Sarristra festival in August.
Our last stop is Agrilias Monastery, built in the 18th century by two shepherds at the point where they found the miraculous icon of Virgin Mary. Those two shepherds, Iakovos and Simeon, became the first monks of the monastery while Cosmas of Aetolia is said to have made a stop there during his pass from the island.
